Het gesprek

In my project for the group exhibition ‘Tension’,

I explore the boundaries of our personal space

in public places. In this series, I visualize the

invisible connection I see daily, by a fantasy.

For my models, I asked two real people who were

complete strangers to each other to experience

the tension in that moment, where they reveal themselves

to one another and I observe and try to capture that invisible

tension through this scenic imagery.

I try to investigate how we respond when our personal space

is intruded as we share a room with another person.

Hereby, the main focus is on the invisible tension we all

experience when we are being confronted with each others

presence. In these photographs I try to reveal the subtle

changes in our posture and body language that tell the story.
